Description:Locally common; immature fleshy fragile herb on damp soil; many seedlings; sterile.  
Habitat:E of paved highway pulloff; wet disturbed clay-loam, mud, drying drainage; mesic to wet prairie remnant; degraded; at margin of low drainage area; with Spartina, Echinochloa.
