Habitat: | Open wooded low knoll with mature Pinus clausa overstory; with young growth of Quercus geminata, Q. chapmanii, Osmanthus megacarpus, Ilex ambigua, Vitis rotundifolia, Serenoa repens, Persea, and Myrica with occasional Carya glabra var megacarpa [Carya glabra], Q. incana, and longleaf pine [Pinus palustris]; Baccharis halimifolia, Rhus copallinum, Callicarpa americana, and persimmon [Diospyros virginiana] as scattered weeds. |
