Description Frequent; leaves green above and below; sepals green; inner petals white; stamens and carpellary appendages cream-colored, tips of carpellary appendages slightly reddened; flowers closed at midday.
Habitat In shallow water of eutrophic ponds with abundant Pistia stratioites.
