Locality USA. Georgia , Bryan Co. : Richmond Hill Wildlife Management Area (Georgia Department of Natural Resources); W of Kilkenny Creek, ca. 1.3 mi. NNE of Kilkenny, ca. 11 mi. SE of Richmond Hill.
Description At least a dozen buckthorns, varying from small tree-sized to shrubs less than 1 m tall.
Habitat Ancient shell medden at marsh edge, in Cary glabra dominated woods with much Cercis canadensis and Aesculus pavia in the understory, Sageretia minutiflora close by.
