Description Flowers rose-red, horizontal, tubular, petals short, stamens and style exserted (apparently a hummingbird flower), stem pads with glochids (no spines), elliptical, ca. 20-30 cm long x 6-10 cm wide, succulent, developing a single trunk in age and appearing shrubby, 1.3 m tall currently.
Habitat In tropical greenhouse.
