Description Large mat of plants with many smaller plants growing below the mat; perhaps result of pot of cultivated plants being emptied onto the sand bank.
Habitat Coastal, white sand with pine and oak; steep bank, near top.

Description Herbaceous weed; stems purple, mostly prostrate on rocks, only the flowering stems erect; leaves thin to semi-succulent with a thick transparent epidermis, green with purple margins and (some leaves) with purple dots; petals inconspicuous, greenish white, the stamens exserted; flowering after several days of very dry weather.
Habitat Limestone rocks.
