Description Plants prostrate, twining on each other; stems with numerous fleshy prickles; flowers nocturnal, limb purple, 5 cm wide, tube greenish white, 5 cm long.
Habitat Weedy corner of a recently plowed field.

Description Uncommon; leaf blades broadly ovate to reniform-ovate, 8-15 cm long, usually entire, thick-textured, stoutish, 6-12 cm long; flowers with limb 8-10 cm wide, short-pointed or somewhat acuminate, much exceeding the calyx lobes.
Habitat Hammock area, in rich soil.
