Locality USA. Florida , Charlotte Co. : Amberjack Environmental Park. County park preserve property; E of C-775/Placida Road, 2600 ft. along trail adjacent to S boundary from gate at SW property corner. 26° 51' 59" N 82° 18' 13" W
Description Localized, frequent perennial herb; stems erect, 8-12 in. tall; leaves alternate, linear to elliptic, pale green to whitish, hairy; flowers yellow, clustered in an elongate panicle.
Habitat Within bare sandy areas of scrub; with sand live oak (Quercus geminata), myrtle oak (Q. myrtifolia), Chapmans oak (Q. chapmanii), rusty lyonia (Lyonia ferruginea), jointweed (Polygonella polygama), wiregrass (Aristida sp.), lichens (Cladonia sp.).
