Tamarix pentandra Pall.
Locality USA. Arizona , Mohave Co. : Along the banks of the Virgin River in the Beaver Dam Mountains, ca. 15 mi. SW of St. George, Utah. T41N, R13W, near the corner of Sec's 4, 5, 8, and 9.
Description Arborescent shrubs up to ca. 5 m tall; flowers varying from rich pink to nearly white, with some variation (but not the whole range) even on one plant.
Habitat River banks.
