Locality Mexico. Jalisco Reserva Biosfera Sierra de Manantlán (very near boundary line with Colima); 18-50 km NW of Colima. 19° 26' 19" N 103° 59' 19" W
Description Tree, 11 m tall, branching low-down into 3 trunks; corolla pink; occasional (undoubtedly once common) in the area.
Habitat Permanently cultivated area with isolated trees (Tabebuia rosea, Annona squamosa) and shrubs (Xylosma flexuosum) of "selva baja caducfiolia", on lowest W-facing slopes of Cerro Grande, a massive limestone plateau.
