Locality Guatemala. El Progreso Dept. E slopes of Motagua Valley near Baja Verapaz border, along highway 17 to Cobán, 21.5-22 km by road WNW of junction with highway 9. 14° 58' 0" N 90° 11' 0" W
Description Common weedy tree, to 4 m tall, much branched, branches forming flat sprays, flowers white, stamens yellow, fruit green.
Habitat Low deciduous thorn forest dominated by minosoid legumes on serpentine; mesic ravine.
