Description Tall climber; stems verruculose, 4-4.5 cm diameter; spathe breaks into pieces and falls off at anthesis; spadix 20.5 cm long, 4.8 mm thick, olive golden; individual fruits 1.5 cm long, 0.7 cm across, self-fertile (?); some seeds well-developed but inflorescence cut off before maturity of seeds.
