Locality Mauritania. Tagant Gardnes at Ksar el-Barka. 18° 24' 8" N 12° 13' 13" W
Description A drough resistant plant, it is a pioneer species, used in sand dune fixation and makes good pasture for domesticated animals including camels; it was observed during the research that some people use a green branch that some people use a green branch from the plant in order to sooth toothaches, using it much like a Miswâk.
