Description Very abundant; selected small plants; root tuberous, plated; basal leaf 1, ca. as long as the petiole; blade to 30 cm long; inflorescence with 1 sessile leaf ca. the middle; flowers white.
Habitat Mountain summits; precipitous rocky slopes and ravines of gypsum and slate, in deciduous woodland with Juliania, Bursera, Cephalocereus, Cyrtocarpa, Cassia; on shaded cliff-faces.
