Locality Trinidad & Tobago. Trinidad , Tunapuna-Piarco : Between 6-7 mi. up valley; Aripo Ward, Aripo Valley; S side of N Range.
Description Abundant; stems fleshy; leaves soft and hispid; calyx vermilion orange, greenish at very base; corolla yellow, with short crimson lines on claws; peduncles tinged crimson; rootstock a corm; plants ranging from 30 cm to 1 m high.
Habitat Alongside Cacao groves.
