Locality USA. Illinois , Ogle Co. : Garden of a vacation cottage, ca. 15 km SE of Oregon; on the E side of the Rock River. 42° 0' 53" N 89° 19' 56" W
Description Perennial, from a bulb; leaves appearing in spring, then withering; flowers appear in early August (i.e. late summer) on scapes to 0.8 m; tepals roseate purple.
Habitat Soil sandy loam.
