Description Tree 30 cm in diameter; bark nearly smooth, shallowly furrowed; wood reddish brown; fruit green.
Habitat Secondary (30-40 years old) subtropical forest dominated by Anadenanthera colubrina, very flat, on fine silty and sandy soil; trees to 15 m tall.
