Locality Colombia. Vaupés Dept. Mitú and vicinity; lower Río Kubiyú.
Description Small tree 4 m tall, inundated; branches arcing; leaves darkish-green; fruit red; a very strong wild coca; one of the wild cocas used prior to the introduction of cultivated varities; presently the cultivated is preferred because it is not so strong.
Habitat Along river; over stream.
