Description Handsome, low-rounded tree, ca. 40 ft. high and 65 ft. across; trunk 4 ft. DBH, brownish-gray, slab-plated rough; branches ascending-erect to spreading or arching-pendent; foliage hanging stiffly from soft-feathery branching; flowers showy, profuse, 3 cm across, caducous, rich golden-orange with maroon eye; wings creped, gabling keel; banner erect and creped, flat to revolute; old fruit rather profuse, tan.
