Locality USA. Florida , Charlotte Co. : Just S of a large canal, ca. 1.3 mi. E of US 41 at a point 1.2 mi. N of the Lee County line, ca. 13 mi. N of Fort Myers; Harper Brothers Property. T42S, R24E, Sec. 33, NE¼ of NW¼ of NW¼. 26° 46' 58" N 81° 55' 15" W
Description Lateral sepals included; petal blades obovate, 6-7 mm long; open in late morning (ca. 10 AM - noon, EDT); staminoidia densley bearded; scapes very broad, flattened, not distinctly ridges; bracts with pronounced oval greenish dorsal area; spikes narrowly elliptic.
Habitat Open herbaceous dominated flatwoods pond in hydric slash pine [Pinus elliottii] flatwoods.
