HIGHBUSH BLUEBERRY
**
Vaccinium corymbosum s.lat. and V. darrowii are two important species for blueberry production for human consumption in Florida (Lyrene 1997; Ehlenfeldt & Ballington 2012). Within V. corymbosum s.lat. and included here, Vaccinium elliottii is characterized by leaf blades less than 3.5 cm long (Godfrey 1988; Luteyn et al. 1990). Other taxa that may be recognized and occur in Florida are V. formosum, V. fuscatum, and V. virgatum (Ward 1974; Weakley 2015). Vaccinium corymbosum s.str., V. caesariense (reported by Camp 1945), and V. tenellum are not known from Florida (Ward 1974; Ward & Lyrene 2007).
