Characteristics
Pteridophytes
Asplenium auritum Sw.
EARED SPLEENWORT; AURICLED SPLEENWORT
**
An early lectotypification of A. erosum by Underwood caused A. auritum and A. erosum to be conspecific and based on the same type. An accepted proposal by Testo (2019) allowed restoration of the use of A. auritum to its more popular usage (Weatherby 1936; Proctor 1985; Risco González & Sánchez Villaverde 2001).
