Sporobolus jacquemontii Kunth
WEST INDIAN DROPSEED
**
Sporobolus jacquemontii is considered the accepted name, while S. indicus var. pyramidalis is apparently a misapplied name in Florida and is rather a taxon found in the Old World (Peterson et al. 2014; Overholt & Franck 2017). FNA (vol. 25) consider both S. indicus and S. jacquemontii as native to North America.
