Description:Small tree, 4-5 m; fruits greenish-yellow with irregular suffusion of dark pink. 
Habitat:Gorgeous extensive tract of dry tropical deciduous forest (bosque troical caducifolio), with Lysiloma tergeminum (leading dominant)-zizyphus mexicanus (2-dom.)-Conzattia multiflora (3-dom.)-Senna atomaria (4-dom.)-Hintonia standleyana (5-dom.), with s spase canopy layer at 8-10 m, an intermediate canopy layer at 4-5 m and close growing scrub layer at 2.5 m; associates include Jacquinia aurantiaca, Alvaradoa amorphoides, Melochia tomentosa, and Paulinia sp.
