Locality:USA. Florida. Nassau Co.: NE part of St. Marys Conservation Area; along powerline right-of-way, ca. 0.5 air mi. N of its crossin of FL 121 (Lake Hampton Road), ca. 0.8 air mi. NW of Pigeon Creek Church, ca. 1.4 air mi. NE of Boulogne. T4N, R23E, Sec. 41 (irregular), NE¼. 30º 47’ 4” N 81º 57’ 35” W
Description:Achene obovatge, apex rounded 0.9-1.1 mm wide, not umbonate, but with a central pale area as in Rhynchospora glomerata. 
Habitat:Seepage slope cleared from evergreen acid seep forest; community dominated by Rhynchospora chalarocephala, R. gracilenta, and Juncus trigonocarpus. Soils - Meadowbrook (Grossarenic Ochraqualfs).
