Description:4-5 18 in. shrubs; flowers pale lilac, the inner corolla tube densely pubescent, the lower lobe less than 9 mm. 
Habitat:Scrub with open white sand, the sand discovered to be 8-12 in. deep over old cypress [Taxodium] knees; with Chrysopsis highlandsensis, Polygonella myriophyllum [Polygonum dentoceras], P. basiramia [Polygonum basiramia].
