Description:Contains high levels of flavonoids, providing antioxidant effects; if applied to the scalp, this species eliminates itching and promotes hair growth; also relieves itchy insect bites; as it contains high amounts of vitamin C, this species is a refrigerant and is used as an antiphlogistic; drinking the juice diluted and warmed will cause a laxative effect.
