Description:Low arching stems, maroon or white outer petals, small maroon, fleshy inner petals; leaves distally spatulate; flower aroma fruity, leaf odor acrid; some small arching stemmed plants difficult to destinguish from A. pygmea, and may actually be a form of same, or more likely a hybrid. 
Habitat:Very dense, somewhat overgrown and overly shaded pine sandhill.
