Description:Hundreds of large, mat-forming plants with numerous flowering stems and large tap roots. 
Habitat:Old, cleared, very sandy semi-pasture/herbaceous scrub with sandhill overtones; with Lechea divaricata, Houstonia procumbens, Rhynchosia michauxii, Arnoglossum, Polygala violacea, Commelina (small, Hardee County Type), and several other scrub and sandhill species.
