Locality: | USA. Florida. Pinellas Co.: Ca. 1 mi. SE of Snug Harbor on Weedon Island. |
Habitat: | Dense, disturbe white sand scrub with occasional Pinus clausa to 4 m high; with cabbage palmetto [Sabal palmetto], Serenoa repens, and Quercus geminata in large clonal colonies, also rather common are Quercus virginiana, Q. chapmanii, Q. myrtifolia, Bejaria racemosa, Lyonia lucida, L. fruticosa, L. ferruginea, Vaccinium floridanum [V. stamineum], V. myrsinites, Osmanthus megacarpus, Rhus, Smilax, and Geobalanus [Licania michauxii]. |
