Description:Common succulent perennial; most stems prostrate-ascending, fertile stems ascending; flowers dull yellowish. 
Habitat:Sand prairie remnant at W side of sand ridge; with Ptelea, Cenchrus, Panicum, Artemisia campestris, Carex lupulina, Bromus tectorum, Quercus velutina, and Krigia virginica. Soils deep quartz sand with small silica-sandstone ledge outcrop.
