Description:Flowers cream-white, clustered pendulous, generally in at least partial shade. 
Habitat:Disturbed moist sandy loam; alluvial deposits; floodplain forest, degraded, dominated by Populus deltoides, Acer negundo, Acer saccharum, Celtis laevigata, Campsis radicans; occasional to locally common mostly herbaceous perennial vine, twining among trees and shrubs at floodplain margin.

Description:Lobed leaf form; young vines 1 m long, leaves dark green above, pale glaucous below; sterile; occasional in shade, on abandoned railroad bed. 
Habitat:Disturbed fill soil, gravel, and rock; Raised abandoned railroad bed within forest; Mixed floodplain forest - mesic upland forest and successional weeds, including Acer negundo, Quercus spp., Asimina triloba, Menispermum, Agastache nepetoides, Eupatorium rugosum.
