Description:Very common. 
Habitat:Dry water course in hills and valleys of unreclaimed phosphate mined land; canopy of dense live oak [Quercus virginiana] with scattered elm [Ulmus], sweetgum [Liquidambar], slash pine [Pinus elliottii]; growing in association with Urena, Drymaria, Erechtites, Carex, Psidium guajava, Commelina. Area said to have been mined in 1910.
