Habitat:Black muck saturated with constant seepage in white cedar [Chamaecyparis thyoides] - palm - bay seepage spring swamp forest, dominated by Chamaecyparis thyoides, Sabal palmetto, and Illicium parviflorum; associates include Bidens mitis, Cladium jamaicense, Isoetes flaccida, Pinguicula caerulea, Rhynchospora miliacea, Selaginella apoda, Thelypteris palustris, and Xyris difformis. Soils - Terra Ceia (Typic Medisaprists).
