Description:Shrub with several main stems from ground level, these nearly horizontal and extending to the periphery of the woodland, with numerous erect branches from each, many of them having the distal branchlets arched. Leaves strongly glaucous beneath, dark green above. Habit or aspect of the plant very much different from the other willows. Only one plant seen by no search mad in the vicinity. 
Habitat:With Myrica cerifera, Liquidambar styraciflua, Salix caroliniana/nigra, Populus deltoides.
