Description:Abundant; many large clumps with leaves swaing in current. 
Habitat:Fresh, flowing water of shallow channels of braided stream through Quercus laurifolia - Acer rubrum swamp forest in thin sand overy clay.

Habitat:Shallow rivulets and drainage depressions through Liquidambar styraciflua - Acer rubrum - Taxodium ascendens swamp forest in silty alluvium over coarse sand with scattered Juncus sp.
