Description:Many plants scattered throughout sandhill and roadside; one flowers blooming per plant; limb lavender, 5+ cm wide, tube and throuat white, tube to 4.0 cm long. Three weeks previous, all plants subrosulate, but now new internodes more or less elongate (decumbent) and plants to ca. 25 cm long. 
Habitat:Longleaf pine [Pinus palustris] sandhill community.
