Habitat: | Dense, disturbed white sand scrub with occasional Pinus clausa to 4 m high; Cabbage palmetto, Serenoa repens, Quercus geminata in large clonal colonies, Q. virginiana, Q. chapmanii, Q. myrtifolia, Bejaria racemosa (anthesis), Lyonia lucida, L. fruticosa, L. ferruginea, Vaccinium floridanum [V. stamineum], Osmanthus megacarpus, Vaccinium myrsinites, Rhus. Smilax, and Geobalanus [Licania michauxii] rather common. |
