Description:Shrub to ca. 4 m tall, stems often leaning. [On annotation label]: Ripe fruits mostly ovoid or ovoid elliptic, 8-12 mm long, mostly ca. 10 mm, 8-9 mm broad, dark blue with a bloom thus appearing greyish blue, often slightly asymmetric and often with style base persistent at the tip, surfaces smooth. Fruits commonly up to ca. 10 in a cluster. Specimens were gathered when most fruits had already been shed. 
Habitat:Rich woodland on both slopes of bluff and on flats below.
