Habitat: | Heavily vegetated shell mound (ancient kitchen midden) ca. 7 m high, 100 m long, along Mosquito Lagoon. Woody overstory mostly of Celtis, Exothea paniculata, Zanthoxylum fagara, Persea littoralis [P. borbonia], Ardisia escallonioides, Rapanea guianensis [Myrsine cubana], Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Plumbago scandens [P. zeylanica], Bumelia [Sideroxylon] and Forestiera; along narrow beach at base of mound. |
