Description:Producing stolons and cormels; petioles up to 1.2 m long, sheathed ca. half their length. Blades with purple spot at point of petiole attachment; spathe tube pale green inside and out, blade pale orange inside and out, constricted at throat. Female flowers green, white sterile flowers interspersed in female spadix; fertile male flowers pale orange; appendix pale orange. Shedding pollen; pollen palest orange. Inflorescence with strong, fruity, sweet scent. Spathe blade tilted backwards exposing spadix at dehiscence. 
Habitat:Canal along agricultural field.
