Habitat: | Dense, disturbed white sand scrub with occasional Pinus clausa to 4 m high; cabbage palmetto [Sabal palmetto], Serenoa repens, Quercus geminata in large clonal colonies, Q. virginiana, Q. chapmanii, Q. myrtifolia, Bejaria racemosa, Lyonia lucida, L. fruticosa, L. ferruginea, Vaccinium floridanum [stamineum], Osmanthus megacarpus, Vaccinium myrsinites, Rhus [Toxicodendron], Smilax, Bumelia [Sideroxylon], and Geobalanus [Licania michauxii] rather common. |
