Habitat: | Marginal openings in extensive Pinus clausa scrub with many young pines and rather dense shrub cover of Lyonia ferruginea, L. lucida, glaucous Serenoa repens, Quercus geminata, Q. chapmanii, Bejaria racemosa, Persea humilis [P. borbonia var. humilis], Ceratiola, Osmanthus megacarpus, and with Rhynchospora megalocarpa, Galactia elliottii, and Smilax auriculata. |
