Description:Deciduous tree 30 ft. high, flowering just as new foliage is emerging; inflorescences pendulous, very showy; sepals greenish yellow, more green along the midvein; petals slightly clawed, bright yellow; style and stigma green; filaments pale yellow, the anthers yellow to brown. 
Habitat:Cultivated in botanical garden.
