Description:Dwarf trees to 5 m high; yellow flowers. Very abundant (dominant vegetation) over sizeable area.
Habitat:Salt marsh.

Description:In March were ½ m high and unbranched; began flowers in April, now 3 m high by 4 m wide; flowers pure yellow. 2 plants.
Habitat:Dry white sand ca. 2 m above water at top of steep slope.
