Habitat: | Burned wet pine - palm flatwoods; community dominated by Pinus palustris, P. elliottii, Sabal palmetto, Ctenium aromaticum, Aristida stricta, Amphicarpum muhlenbergianum; other associates include Lachnocaulon anceps, Pluchea rosea [P. baccharis], Vernonia blodgettii, Myrica cerifera, Eupatorium mikanioides, Mikania scandens, Scutellaria integrifolia, Axonopus furcatus, Erigeron vernus, and Eriocaulon decangulare. Soils - Malabar (Grossarenic Ochraqualfs). |
