Habitat: | In sandy openings. Ancient marine terrace covered with Pinus clausa scrub. Serenoa repens, Lyonia ferruginea, Garberia fruticosa [G. heterophylla], Sabal etonia, Osmanthus megacarpus, Smilax auriculata, Quercus myrtifolia, Q. chapmanii, Petalostemon feayi [Dalea feayi], Selaginella arenicola, Sanidophyllum [Hypericum cumulicola], etc. with occasional Pinus clausa. |
