Description:Ascending perennial herb with 3-5 flowering stalks from a basal rosette, locally common. 
Habitat:In plow furrow made to prevent fire spread in rosemary [Ceratiola ericoides] stand. Growing in bare white "sugar" sand. Associated spp.: Hypericum cumulicola, Selaginella arenicola, Polygonella fimbriata var. robusta [P. robusta].

Description:Rather frequent. 
Habitat:Ancient marine terrace covered with Pinus clausa scrub. Serenoa repens, Lyonia ferruginea, Garberia fruticosa [G. heterophylla], Sabal etonia, Osmanthus megacarpus, Smilax auriculata, Quercus myrtifolia, Q. chapmanii, Petalostemon feayi [Dalea feayi], Selaginella arenicola, Sanidophyllum [Hypericum cumulicola], etc, with occasional Pinus clausa.
