Description:Locally common tree ca. 4-8 m tall with glaucous foliage, pale green erect cones on upper branches. 
Habitat:Rocky exposed ridge; humus; slopes and level areas around parking area on basaltic bedrock; open well drained rocky areas among Abies procera, Penstemon cardwellii; Coast Range Ecoregion.
