Description:Multi-stemmed herb 4 ft. tall and wide; leaves and stems with spines of various lengths; flowers small, white; mature fruits yellow. 
Habitat:Recent landscape planting of native grasses, where Broussonetia papyrifera, Sambucus nigra, and Eupatoriumm capillifolium have also naturalized.
